The First Quiet Luxury Brand dedicated to Sleep

By blending unmatched craftsmanship with the finest natural materials and beautiful aesthetics, Nattiluxe has established itself as the first quiet luxury brand of bed makers. This European artisan brand offers a sustainable sleep experience, reminiscent of the high quality and precision found in quiet luxury brands .

Sleep as the Ultimate Modern Luxury

In today’s hyper-connected, screen-saturated world, sleep has evolved from a basic human need into one of life’s most precious luxuries. Constant stimulation, digital overload, and the pressure of always being available have made deep, restorative sleep increasingly elusive—yet more essential than ever.

Quality sleep enhances decision-making, supports physical health, regulates weight, and improves overall performance. At its core, Nattiluxe is about putting yourself first—reclaiming your health and well-being through design, materials, and what might best be described as slow technology: time-honored techniques that work in harmony with the body rather than against it.

Each Nattiluxe bed is made to order, offering natural plush comfort without shortcuts, chemicals, or synthetic compromises

A Founder with Vision and Experience

Founded by Giselle Valle, Nattiluxe is built on more than a century of European upholstery and textile savoir-faire. Valle broke through the barriers of a traditionally male-dominated industry, drawing on her extensive background in luxury bedding and design.

Her career includes seven years as a Director at Hästens, where she played a key role in expanding the brand across Europe and 5 years as agent of Vispring in Scandinavia. That experience gave her a rare, insider understanding of what the luxury sleep market offered—and what it lacked. Nattiluxe was created to answer that gap: a brand that prioritizes natural materials, transparency, sustainability and true customization without visual noise or overstatements.

Today, Nattiluxe beds are handcrafted in ateliers in France, Slovakia and Italy using ethically sourced materials from Sweden and across Europe.

The Essence of Nattiluxe

The true essence of a Nattiluxe bed is invisible to the eye. While the exterior reflects impeccable craftsmanship and restrained elegance, it is the interior—entirely natural—that sets the brand apart.

Each mattress is engineered to regulate humidity and temperature, creating a cool, calm sleep environment. By avoiding latex and foam entirely, Nattiluxe offers a healthier and more sustainable alternative that enhances both comfort and longevity free from VOCs.

Our mission is to positively impact people’s lives and the planet with everything we make,” says Valle. That philosophy informs every decision, from FSC-certified slow-growing pine bed frames to fillings made exclusively from natural materials that can be reused, refreshed or recycled over time.

Every bed is backed by a 30-year warranty underscoring Nattiluxe’s confidence in its materials, craftsmanship and long-term value.

Personalization and Collaboration with Interior Designers

Nattiluxe stands apart through its commitment to personalization. Mattresses and beds are tailored to individual sleep needs and interior aesthetics, making each piece a functional design object.

The brand works closely with renowned interior designers, offering an exceptional selection of fabrics from Loro Piana, Pierre Frey, Dedar, and Lizzo. Expert upholstery artisans precisely match patterns, align textures, and create bespoke combinations upon request, ensuring each bed is unique.

Every detail is considered: invisible zippers, refined piping, seamless corners, and hand-finished stitching. Bed frames and legs are crafted for each individual order, allowing full customization of height, shape, and color, with a wide range of stitching and piping options.

Transparency, Materials and Long-Term Value

Nattiluxe speaks to an informed, design-literate clientele that values transparency as much as beauty.

“We do not use Bonell springs, which are the cheapest on the market,” explains Valle. “Instead, we use pocket springs even in our bases. The quality of our beds is also evident in the generous use of horsehair, particularly in the height and performance of our mattress toppers.”

Horsehair is organically washed, twisted into long braids, and left to dry for up to six months, transforming it into a resilient, breathable structure made up of millions of tiny natural springs. This unique material supports each muscle group while naturally regulating body temperature and absorbing excess heat.

Nattiluxe also offers comfort layers in wool and cotton, as well as upgrades to silk or cashmere—materials that adapt better to the body and remain flexible regardless of humidity. All comfort layers are hand-stitched before and after upholstery, with up to five rows of stitching to ensure the mattress maintains its integrity for decades.

As Valle notes, “We are not inexpensive, but we are worth every penny.” The brand’s focus is not on price, but on value—superior materials, total customization, durability, and responsible production.

A Global Vision, Designed for the Future

Founded by a global citizen, Nattiluxe brings together the best of European craftsmanship with a contemporary, international sensibility. Valle’s journey led her to create a brand defined by authenticity, innovation, and restraint.

The result is a collection of beds that are aesthetically pleasing and profoundly functional—designed to improve sleep quality, enhance well-being, and reduce environmental impact. Free from latex and foam makes them VOC-free, Nattiluxe mattresses significantly lower health risks and environmental harm in a world where more than 55,000 of synthetic mattresses are burned daily.

“We craft our beds with the next generations in mind,” says Valle—a philosophy that resonates in every stitch, material choice and design decision.
